As we embrace this day of love, we couldn't help but treat ourselves today as well! Whether you're celebrating Valentine's Day, Galentine's Day or taking a day to chill this year, we have the perfect self love checklist to make the most of this day of love!
1. Make a List.
Organization is key to a peaceful mind which is why we put these practices at the top of our list to set us up for success during the rest of our self love day. Make a list with everything you're procrastinating or anything that's taking up space in your mind and let it go for the day. It's proven that sometimes the only thing holding us back is ourselves so setting up the upcoming days in an organized fashion is sure to be more beneficial than a day spent worrying.
2. Nurture Your Mind.
Learning is not always work related. Taking a minute to nurture your mind is an important step in our self care routines. There are so many ways that you can brush up on your skills at the convenience of your smart phone. Play a word game, read an article, look up your horoscope or even jump into a language app if you're feeling really adventurous! Your mind will thank you and you might even learn a little bit about yourself along the way!
3. Keep Up The Positive Vibes.
Things can get tough around the holidays but we are a true believer in the power of positive thinking! Whatever you choose to spend your day doing, keep up the good spirits and let the rest fall into place. Any situation can be transformed into a positive experience if that's how you choose to accept it. We're not saying this is always easy, but setting your mind on the right track is bound to give you a little pep in your step!
